Attending In-Serivce Day along with numerous other student leaders from the Associated Students of Columbia College. We'll be discussing the Institutional Effectiveness Report and setting a framework for the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan.  

Well into the first day of my Student Senate for California Community Colleges weekend I've already attended six standing committee meetings, been elected Chair of the Resolutions Committee, and have started into the Student Senate Council meeting. I look forward to representing the students of the California Community College System in my new capacity. Yesterday I attended the Board of Trustees Retreat. The Board of Trustees, Chancellor, College Presidents, and Central Services Administrative Staff gathered to discuss a vast array of issues pertaining to the District including, but not limited to, the educational centers in Patterson & Calevaras County.

After the Board Retreat concluded, I had the great opportunity to attend the Associated Students of Modesto Junior College Activity Committee meeting. Vice President Brown and his committee discussed the numerous activities they're planning for the upcoming Fall Semester. It looks to be a promising year for campus life at Modesto Junior College.
