This weekend I had the great privilege of going to a leadership retreat at Baker Station (a field studies campus of the Yosemite Community College District). Officially it was a retreat for the leadership of the Associated Students of Columbia College & Modesto Junior College, but unofficially with representatives from many different organizations, it served as a retreat for the Yosemite Student Association & Region V too. With bunk beds, no cell service or internet, and informational breakouts scheduled back to back, it was a great bonding experience for all involved. I look forward to putting the new relationships to work, and getting things done for the remainder of the year! Left to Right: John Griffin III, Asia Reed, Ben Vogt, Errin Bass, Me (Andrew J. Campbell), Korey Keith, Aiko Gonzalez, and Matt Christman.

Today I attended a meeting of the Inter-Club Council of the Associated Students of Modesto Junior College as representative for the Young Americans for Liberty club. During the meeting we discussed the affairs and activities of the campus clubs and the Associated Students of Modesto Junior College. We then elected the new Council officers for the 2014-2015 term. During the elections I was nominated and unanimously elected as Clerk. I look forward to serving the students of Modesto Junior College in my new roll.
This weekend, September 6th - 7th, the Student Senate for California Community Colleges hosted a weekend of committee meetings facilitated via teleconference. It was a long weekend jumping from teleconference call to teleconference call. The meetings that I participated in are as follows:
