Andrew's People to People Experience: In 2009, Andrew traveled to the United Kingdom and Ireland as a member of the twenty student Central California Delegation. Joining with the Mississippi Delegation the forty or so high school students were immersed in the culture of the United Kingdom and Ireland's people.
The People to People Promise: For more than 50 years, we’ve helped students in 5th grade through college discover the world while they discover their own capabilities—providing life-changing immersive experiences, meaningful connections, and the confidence to succeed in a global world.

The People to People Story: It all began with the vision of President Eisenhower, imagining the world where young people of different countries would meet and get to know each other, fostering lasting peace and making a difference. That vision lives to this day in People to People student travel programs.

1962: People to People travels its first student group to Europe, briefed by Robert Kennedy
1976: Students visit China
1987: Students travel to Russia and meet Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev
1989: Students witness the fall of the Berlin Wall
2005: People to People becomes the first student travel organization to go to all seven continents
2013: People to People students host Chinese students during Presidential Inauguration
